How to use
hth® Blue Sparkle Skimmer Tabs
Method of application:

Water balance:
Maintain daily levels as determined by a test kit or test strips - Free Available Chlorine (FAC):1.0 - 3.0 ppm - pH: 7.2 - 7.8 - Total Alkalinity: 80 - 120 ppm - Calcium Hardness: 200 - 300 ppm Make any necessary adjustments promptly with the appropriate hth® pool care products.

Routine chlorination:
Add one 255g tablet of this product per 37,800 liters of water and monitor the free available chlorine residual for 24 - 48 hours. Adjust the number of tablets as needed to maintain a chlorine residual at 1 to 3 ppm. The number and frequency of addition of tablets may vary depending on bather load, water temperature and other conditions. If water becomes cloudy or surfaces feel slippery, follow "SHOCK TREATMENT" directions.

Initial shock treatment:
When opening your pool, initially superchlorinate pool water by using a granular or liquid shock product. Follow label directions on those products. DO NOT enter pool until the free available chlorine residual is 1 - 3 (parts per million) ppm.

Shock treatment:
For best results adjust pH to 7.2 to 7.8 as needed with hth® pH adjusters before treatment. Shock treat weekly with an hth shock product to kill bacteria, burn out organic contaminants, and keep water clear. Immediately after shock treatment, thoroughly clean pool surfaces by scrubbing and vacuuming through the filter. Do not enter the pool until the free available chlorine residual is 1 - 3 ppm.
